By the way, if you haven't heard, we are building a new airport. The Morehead - Rowan County Clyde A. Thomas Regional Airport broke ground back in 2003 (See the News Footage Here).
August, 2007 - Most of the airport for the phases that we have been funded for has been completed. We are in the process of completing a 12 unit t-hangar bank! The t-hangars should be operative by middle to late September. We have 10 tie downs completed and ready to use, when the airport opens. It is anticipated that the landing strip will 'officially' open on September 1, 2007!!!! We will have a "Grand Opening" later. Keep checking back and more information will be posted here.

The 'Official Opening of the Runway' was on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at approximately 3:00 PM. See the photos at the Photo Gallery and witness the presentation of the "Landing Certificate" by the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Aviation, Mr. Paul Steely.

October 21, 2007 - The T-Hangars already have a tenant or two and the paving should be complete this week. We will close on the sale of the Farmers airport property on November 1 and that airport will be closed and cease to be an airport as of the 31st of October.
